Cambridge Starters Early Beginners

This course is designed for young learners who are just starting their English journey. It is ideal for children aged 4 to 6 who have little or no previous experience with the language.

Through songs, stories and playful activities, children are introduced to their first English words in a gentle and enjoyable way. We focus on building a small but meaningful vocabulary that helps them feel comfortable in simple classroom situations.

At this stage, children learn to understand and use basic words for colours, animals, toys, classroom objects and familiar everyday topics. They practise listening and speaking through movement, games and picture-based tasks that match how young children learn best.

Our course follows the Cambridge Young Learners Syllabus and offers a clear foundation for future progress. Step by step, children become familiar with English sounds, simple phrases and common instructions, giving them a confident start as they move towards the Cambridge Starters Level.
